On the morning of March 6, 2024, Pat Heung Central Primary School in Hong Kong and Zhuoya Primary School in Nanshan District, Shenzhen,  happily met at the “Greater Bay Area School Leadership Series Activities and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Sister School Signing Ceremony.” They jointly signed the “Guangdong-Hong Kong Sister School Program Sister School Cooperation Agreement,” establishing a friendly school partnership.

The Hong Kong Economic Times (HKET) wrote an article on the cohesion of Pat Heung Central Primary School: After Typhoon Saola, PHCPS parents and teachers voluntarily returned to campus to clean up and repair the campus.

1. On May 12th, representatives from the Lo Wu Political Consultative visited our school for an exchange and sharing of experiences regarding the education systems between Mainland and Hong Kong. During the visit, the representatives interacted with our teachers and students. Together, we exchanged our educational experiences and teaching methods, discussed ways to enhance communication and cooperation, and addressed common challenges to improve the quality of education. This event fostered mutual understanding and friendship between us.

On June 26, about 40 firefighters and ambulancemen came to Pat Heung Central Primary School. They not only brought fire engines and ambulances to our school, but also prepared wonderful activities for the students: talks, ambulance workshops, introduction of fire engine equipment, and little firefighter dress-up… The students enjoyed it and benefited a lot. Among them, two firefighters and ambulancemen of ethnic minority shared their experiences and showed their positive outlook on life, helping our students set clear goals in life.
